Project: Mobius' Favorite Songs: Take Over Control - Afrojack (Feat. Eva Simons)

As a new release, "Take Over Control" is just starting to get popular. However, this hit song by the man behind the beat of Pitbull's "Give Me Everything" has already become one of my favorites. Why? Read on to find out!

OK. First off, I should say that how I describe this song will not do this song justice. That's not because my writing skills are incompetent, but rather that this song covers so many bases that I will not be able to cover everything.

However, there are many things I can write about. The video opens with a seducing, sexy Eva Simons and a nice dance troupe. My only critic comes here in the first verse, where I feel some of the lyrics were poorly-written and didn't come together well.

The rest of the song comes alive, though, after the main chorus. Short, simple and suspenseful, the chorus definitely catches your attention before "it"; the huge drop. Making the song great to dance/rave to, this instrumental is what brings the whole song together.

Following in the steps of Martin Solveig's "Hello", "Take Over Control" could become relatively popular in America. Will it? Feel free to weigh in!
