Remember when "Good Girls Go Bad" went big last year, and Cobra Starship had their first big hit? It definitely seemed like Cobra Starship was destined to be another one-hit wonder band, never quite making it back to the top. However, they're back with "You Make Me Feel...", and it's strong enough to make Cobra Starship a two-hit wonder, at the very least.
This song is electric. And I mean it. It sounds just as great on the radio as it does in the club. Why? It sticks to the basics of pop music: a catchy chorus, repetition and simple lyrics. You can't stop singing to the song, and it sticks in your head like molasses. Sabi makes up for a good part of the song, and her voice sounds nice and smooth over a hard beat.
This is a great, well-designed song. I'd suggest to everyone to buy it, whether you're a fan of pop, dance or any other kind of music. I find it effortless and nearly perfect. Of course, many won't, but that's the beauty in music, right?
