The fact is, Christina has serious singing chops, and this song allows her to show it. However, the video doesn't do the song justice. It's very simple, and there's nothing elaborate that catches your eye instantly. Honestly, the music video itself isn't worth watching.
However, that doesn't mean that "Advice" isn't a solid song. It may not be the next "Tonight Tonight" (that would be "You Make Me Feel..."), but it's still a great purchase for anyone interested in teen pop!
