The Project: Mobius Fab 50 - Week of July 4, 2011

Today may be all about red, white and blue in America, but it's all about pink on this week's Fab 50. Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass" has finally been added to the list, due to partially ignorance to the song and partially my initial dislike of the piece. However, it's here now: but where on the list? Read the full article to find out!

"Super Bass" may have made its premiere on the Fab 50, but it has yet to affect the top of the charts, which changed very little this week.

  1. Any chance Britney's gonna make your top 3?

  2. With "I Wanna Go"? In the future, if it catches on more as far as sales and airplay go. I personally like the song a lot (although I didn't originally), but I'm not going to put a song the general public hasn't accepted into the top spot. I try to act like a real top 40/50 countdown, in the respects that those songs on top are the ones most popular and well-known in that week.

  3. I'm finally getting into Hot Chelle Rae. I dismissed them at first. I think "Super Bass" is great. I'm glad you've warmed to it.

  4. Why did you dismiss "Tonight Tonight"? The playful lyrics? I find they actually fit well with the song.

Also, I already knew about Chord's brother being in Hot Chelle Rae. However, did you know that Chord's leaving Glee next season? It's part of Ryan Murphy "phasing out" some of the graduating students.
