The Project: Mobius Fab 50 - Week of August 15, 2011

This week is the week of  "comeback songs". Comeback songs are songs that had been previously charted, but were knocked out - then found their way back in! There are 4 of them on the chart this week (including 2 new re-entries), but the most prominent is definitely Britney Spears' "I Wanna Go". Click for the full article to find out if she was able to top the Fab 50 with her smash hit!

This week's chart is quite red. There are 9 big losers and no big movers, which could be attributed to the new songs on the chart this week. I'll let the chart do the rest of the talking, though...

At the Top
  • Britney Spears miraculously moves up 3 spots to #1 with "I Wanna Go"! Hot Chelle Rae's "Tonight Tonight" and Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" both move back their respective places.
  • "Pumped Up Kicks", by Foster the People, moves up 1 spot to fourth. "How to Love", by Lil' Wayne, moves down to #5.
