As the fall music season starts to heat up, the competition to have the best new song will be extremely fierce. One new song vying for success is Kelly Clarkson's "Mr. Know It All", in which Kelly attempts to get back on the top of the charts. Does it deserve to get there? My review and the full song are in the complete article (note: click the title)!
Firstly, let me start out by saying that this is an extremely difficult song to review. Why? Kelly Clarkson's able to rock out the vocals on the track very well (like always), but this song seems like another poorly-written attempt at success by 19 Recordings. If it weren't for American Idol, they'd definitely be out of business, as they've recently had quite a bit of trouble attempting to write a hit song.
What does that mean for Kelly Clarkson, who's desperately trying to get back in the race among other popular female soloists? Nothing good, to say the least. The song sounds like it could have been released by Clarkson in 2005, and there's nothing truly unique about "Mr. Know It All".
Will this song become a hit? It's a coin flip, as the song itself won't shine through into stardom by itself. As the 1st season of X Factor gets underway, it would be extremely surprising for me to not see Kelly's new single featured on the show. However, America's eardrums seem to be more receptive than ever this year (as acts such as Adele and Foster the People have had huge success), which tells me that this song will never hit #1 on the Hot 100.

When this song first came out I was really excited about it, but its worn off fast. It seems to be cooling at radio fast--may not reach the top 10.
