The Project: Mobius Fab 50 - Week of October 10, 2011

Fueled By Ramen is getting a huge taste of success this week on the Fab 50, after two of their songs enter the top 4. I took a big risk on both of these songs (on "Stereo Hearts" by putting in on my chart in mid-June, on "You Make Me Feel..." by giving it a 4.5/5), but both of my risks paid off, and the songs are both successful and still climbing on the charts! Can you believe it? My favorite song of the spring, "Better With the Lights Off", is actually getting relatively popular now! This leads to its surprising re-entry on the Fab 50, this week. Songs of the Month: July 2011

This month was the official month of party rocking. Sure, there were other songs that piqued America's interest (such as Pitbull's "Give Me Everything" and Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)"), but none compare to the impact that LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem" had. SOTDay Bonus: "You Make Me Feel..." - Cobra Starship (Feat. Sabi)

Remember when "Good Girls Go Bad" went big last year, and Cobra Starship had their first big hit? It definitely seemed like Cobra Starship was destined to be another one-hit wonder band, never quite making it back to the top. However, they're back with "You Make Me Feel...", and it's strong enough to make Cobra Starship a two-hit wonder, at the very least.
